A European OEM specialised in food & beverage packaging lines, exporting a machine to South America for a local packaging producer.
THE NEED
Across many South American industrial plants, the standard three‑phase supply is 480V at 60 Hz, while the machine was designed to operate at 400V. Beyond voltage adaptation, the installation environment required hygienic, corrosion‑resistant construction and protection against humidity and splashes associated with cleaning procedures. The customer also needed an integrated set‑up enabling safe switching operations, quick on‑site checks and reliable thermal behaviour.

In addition to the stainless steel casing and IP54 protection rating, the design includes a range of accessories designed to improve the day-to-day management and maintenance of the system:
- Input isolator and output switch: enhance safety and convenience during operations and technical interventions.
- Input/output multimeters: allow for rapid monitoring of key electrical parameters and facilitate on-site diagnostics and testing.
- Cooling fans: assist with ventilation in demanding conditions or in installations where ambient temperature and air circulation are not optimal.
