THE NEED
At the installation site, a critical environment with high security requirements, voltage fluctuations caused by the network infrastructure were a problem. In addition, due to logistical issues, the installation had to be outdoors.
OUR SOLUTION
Ortea’s solution was to supply an 800kVA Sirius voltage stabiliser with a customised ±15% input range, designed to operate in outdoor environments (IP54 protection rating) and to comply with specific constraints imposed by the customer, including the absence of any visible or accessible devices on the outside. All controls, displays and switches were integrated inside the machine, ensuring maximum protection and operational safety.
To facilitate shipping and on-site installation, the machine was supplied in two separate units, each with a specific function:
- Regulation unit (Dimensions: 2100 x 1300 x 2100 mm, Weight: approx. 2000 kg)
- TPK bypass kit unit (Dimensions: 1900 x 1300 x 2100 mm, Weight: approx. 1000 kg)
This modular configuration allowed for optimal logistics and installation management.
