These large infrastructures have significant installed power, but often distributed over very large areas: reducing the currents in play is crucial, both for the efficiency of the system and for environmental friendliness.
OUR SOLUTION
To solve the customer’s problem, 16 MINImatic HP20 80kvar 400V power factor correction units were supplied, with IP55 carpentry: total supply 1280kvar.
The equipment is made of robust metallised polypropylene capacitors with a high gradient (nominal voltage: 460V) and is characterised by a particularly robust and high degree of protection carpentry.
For these large infrastructures, an extensive power factor correction is always an optimal choice.
