THE NEED
The customer complained of voltage fluctuation problems and needed high power for its fertiliser production plants located one in Ghana and one in Nigeria.
OUR SOLUTION
In order to solve the voltage fluctuation problems present in the customer’s installations, we manufactured and delivered two 4000kVA Sirius model voltage stabilisers with ±20% input voltage regulation, off the shelf, designed on the specific requirement of this customer.
The voltage stabilisers were supplied complete with a Total Protection Kit, which includes:
- Input circuit breaker
- Output circuit breaker
- Bypass switch
The realisation and logistical challenge we had to face and solve was the imposing size of the magnetic parts required to handle the high power demand, which led to the assembly of the voltage stabilisers in cabinets measuring 6200x2000x2400h mm with a weight of around 13,000kg.
