THE CUSTOMER
The customer is a large grain milling plant located in Pakistan.
THE NEED
The customer’s system is characterised by the presence of numerous motors with inverters, and therefore the currents have a high harmonic content.
OUR SOLUTION
The switchboards used by Ortea to solve the customer’s problem each have a power rating of 685kvar/415V and will be used master-slave coupled to create three 1370kvar power factor correction systems for the 2500kVA MV/LV trafo powering the plant.
Thanks to the robust detuning inductances on board the MULTImatic FH20 (Fd=180Hz), there will no longer be any problems of overload on the capacitors or even resonance in the bt links.
