THE CUSTOMER
The customer is a mechanical company located in northern Italy that produces industrial automation components.
THE NEED
The customer had the need to reorganise its electrical distribution cabin and the desire to carry out an energy efficiency intervention, all while having a reduced space available.
OUR SOLUTION
The tailor-made solution proposed by Ortea was to design a single machine capable of satisfying both requirements: a 2000kVA Enersolve, which together with the traditional efficiency section also has the necessary equipment for the power centre function.
The challenge faced by our engineering team was a complex one, as the customer’s plant consists of four MV/LV transformers, four sub-switchboards and a photovoltaic system.
The machine was also designed in a decomposable way to solve installation logistical problems, and on-board visualisation and control devices connected to other customer equipment were installed.
