THE NEED
The customer relied on Ortea’s solutions to ensure optimum power quality in the construction of a new airport terminal, one of the largest development projects in the area, covering an area of 180,000 square metres. Thanks to the new boarding areas, the airport facility will handle around 25 million passengers per year.
OUR SOLUTION
As part of this strategic project for the area, Ortea Next has supplied the Main Contractor with Icar by Ortea Next branded automatic power factor correction systems for a total of 43MVAR, to improve the power quality of the terminal and car parks.
The solutions supplied have state-of-the-art features both in terms of electrical performance and the possibility of remote control, thanks to Ortea Next’s consolidated experience in the design and implementation of power factor correction systems.
