THE CUSTOMER
Ashgabat Rehabilitation and Physiology Hospital in Turkmenistan.
THE NEED
Voltage fluctuations are a constant challenge in Turkmenistan, generating significant inconvenience and additional costs related to the quality of the supplied power. The continuous availability of stable supply voltage, independent of input fluctuations, is very often the key to ensuring efficiency and reliability for the end user.
Reduced productivity, loss of data, loss of safety, machine failures, inaccurate information and domestic disturbances are just a few examples of potential problems caused by an unstable power supply.
OUR SOLUTION
To solve this specific customer’s problems, top-of-the-line Sirius voltage stabilisers were chosen, which will be installed downstream of the MV transformers within a dedicated electrical substation.
This equipment guarantees voltage stability for the entire hospital electrical system, neutralising the negative effects of voltage fluctuations and enabling smooth and constant operation. The order includes the installation of:
- 8 Sirius 2500kVA voltage stabilisers with ±15% regulation
- 4 x 3200kVA Sirius voltage stabilisers with ±15% regulation
The voltage stabilisers will be installed at the Turkmenistan Rehabilitation and Physiology Hospital in Ashgabat.
When the contract is awarded in 2021, this ultra-modern hospital will cover a vast area of 67,000 square metres, offering 250 beds, 6 operating theatres and 26 intensive care units. Not only a work of regional significance, but a landmark for rehabilitation and physiology throughout Turkmenistan and Central Asia.
Ortea is proud to contribute to the success of such an advanced and crucial project for the health of the community.
