THE NEED
In data centres, the power infrastructure must protect sensitive and non-linear loads while ensuring isolation, power quality, thermal control and 24/7 continuity. The project required a large-scale supply with consistent technical performance, adaptable to different rooms and electrical architectures, including both IP21 and IP00 versions to meet specific installation constraints.
OUR SOLUTION
Ortea supplied 177 DYN11 isolation transformers rated at 750 kVA with K-factor K13, engineered to handle non-linear loads and harmonic stress typical of data centre environments. Each unit includes aluminium windings, an NGO M270 core, earthed electrostatic shielding between primary and secondary, insulation class H, PT100 sensors with control unit, anti-vibration feet and efficiency up to 98.81%. The IP21/IP00 configuration mix supports flexible installation in different rooms while maintaining quality control, mechanical robustness and consistent performance across the entire supply.
