THE CUSTOMER

The customer is one of the largest zinc foundries in the world, located in the heart of Europe.

 

THE NEED

The customer had a problem with harmonics generated by the large arc furnaces powered by Medium Voltage, which stress the power grid and cause equipment malfunctions.

 

OUR SOLUTION

Ortea found a suitable solution by proposing a harmonic absorption system through the installation of a passive medium voltage filter.
