THE NEED
Local grid instability (voltage spikes and fluctuations) was threatening production continuity. Injection moulding machines are highly sensitive to out-of-tolerance voltage: even short deviations can trigger unplanned stops, scrap, stress on electronic components and delivery delays. The customer needed reliable, wide-range voltage stabilisation to keep the process predictable and protect productivity. Furthermore, the plant’s power factor was very low.
