THE NEED
In feed mills with variable loads and continuous operation, efficiency is a competitiveness lever: it lowers electricity costs while improving stability, planning and sustainability. The customer required a measurable, monitorable solution sized on energy audits and tailored to two plants with different installation constraints (indoor vs outdoor, protection equipment and logistics).
OUR SOLUTION
Ortea supplied two tailor-made Enersolve energy efficiency devices rated at 1600 kVA and 2000 kVA. Both solutions deliver high efficiency, precise voltage control, independent phase regulation and monitoring via a MID meter and the Ortea XCloud platform. The 1600 kVA configuration is designed for indoor installation and includes a by-pass system and surge protection; for logistical reasons it was manufactured in two separate parts to be reconnected during commissioning. The 2000 kVA unit is designed for outdoor installation with IP55 protection and a more robust set-up for higher power levels. The supply package also includes commissioning, technical reporting and an Ortea Care warranty extension.
