VOLTAGE STABILISER FOR INSTITUTIONAL SITE IN SOUTH-EAST AFRICA

VOLTAGE STABILISER FOR INSTITUTIONAL SITE IN SOUTH-EAST AFRICA

A major Canadian partner commissioned us to design and customise a Sirius voltage stabiliser to solve problems caused by voltage fluctuations at an institutional site in south-east Africa.

TECHNICAL FEATURES OF THE VOLTAGE STABILISER

Following the customer’s requirements, a voltage stabiliser was realised with the following characteristics:

  • rated power: 2750kVA
  • input voltage regulation: ±10%
  • bypass system
  • double output switch
  • installation: outdoor
  • degree of protection: IP54
  • dimensions: 6300x1700x2400 mm
  • weight: 7000kg

CUSTOMISED CONFIGURATION FOR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

During the design phase, the voltage stabiliser was configured, with respect to the standard solution, to meet the customer’s requirements in relation to the space available on the installation site and the need to have two output lines protected by circuit breakers.

In addition, again to the customer’s specifications, the protection components with which the machine is equipped are UL certified, a mark that certifies the conformity of electrical and electronic products with the requirements established by the safety standards in force in Canada and the United States.

Ortea once again demonstrates its ability to meet both technical and design requirements.
